Welcome to the Akagi!

The crew of the Sovereign-class U.S.S. Akagi has been assigned to the Delta Quadrant, three years after the Battle of Union in 2384 where combined Federation and non-official Klingon forces fought a single Borg Cube.

Following the destruction of the Union, F'hoca, Solaria and Mauoian Gateways which linked the Delta and Alpha quadrants together, the only means of travel between these two quadrants was replaced by the Federation Transwarp Network which utilized Borg technology from Voyager's return from the Delta Quadrant.

The Akagi now explores a region of space within the Delta Quardant known as The Round Table which is almost completely unknown and is fifteen thousand light-years beyond the furthest known edges of Hirogen, Vaadwaur, and Borg expansion.

An area of the once mythical race of Iconians, creators of the gateways, with such dangers as the Skareen, a militaristic and widely feared race throughout the Star Desert, and the nicknamed Ariel Mercenaries. However, all is not lost, with the Perenalthorias Union of Commonwealths who are responsible for establishing trade, and maintaining the peace not too dissimilar to the United Federation of Planets.

We are working hard to ensure this remains one of the most exciting simulations to ever take place in the Star Trek universe. Current Mission: If Knowledge Is Power

Stardate 65031.1 - Having failed to close down all of the dimensional rifts aboard the ship, the crew of the Akagi receive a member of the Krentarii race whose sole purpose for visiting is to learn everything about Starfleet, the Federation and the strange galaxy that they inhabit. Not all of the knowledge is welcome or properly understood though and relations between the crew and their alien visitor quickly deteriorate.

I've been asked to pass the message below along to all of you in case any of you are interested.

Ladies and gentlemen of the fleet!
Bravo Fleet is your home and you deserve to know what is going on around the place. As such, we have been looking to revitalize the Bravo Fleet News Service. I have recently been appointed as Editor-In-Chief using the character Noah Ramsey and as head of the BF FNS I am excited to be bringing you news from around the fleet. Whether your character is based in the Delta Quadrant or on Earth, you have a right to know what is going on in our fleet.
I cannot do this task alone though, which is where you come in. I need your help. If I am to bring you the news that matters most then I need to have some people that are willing to help me compile articles, conduct interviews and help me put together the brand new, bi-monthly, Fleet Newsletter. As such, I am recruiting for FNS Representatives for each Task Force, someone who can keep up with the news in their chosen area of operations and help to ensure that their TF is fairly represented around the fleet. All you need to do is email me, at tf38@bravofleet.org and register your interest in one of our TF Representative roles.
If you do not feel able to step up to one of these roles but still want to contribute, don’t worry! Every player that registers an account on the main fleet website can submit news articles about their characters’ lives and adventures in the fleet. Any article you submit helps the FNS, so please, please, try to submit articles whenever you feel able to.
In return for your help, I offer the services of myself and my team in any news related capacity that we can help with, IC or OOC. Got something coming up where you want an IC news reporter to show up? Let us know! Want someone to help you write an article or interview a character of yours? Email me at tf38@bravofleet.org Want some news themed images for your site? Contact me and I’ll help you or find someone who can.
Keep in touch with what we are doing via the BFFNS section of RSB at http://forum.bravofleet.com/ forum/bravo-fleet-staff- departments/bravo-fleet- community-relations-office/ bravo-fleet-news-service and don’t forget to keep your eye out for the first edition of the BF Newsletter, due at the end of February.
Thank you,

Kai aka

Everyone, please welcome aboard John who will be playing William Gordon. He'll be a civilian for now but in the future will hopefully take on a role on the ship.

Great to have more people on board.

» New Mission!

Posted on Sun Mar 13th, 2016 @ 4:13pm by Lieutenant Commander Aurelia Prendergast in General News

Okay crew, our old mission is now complete and signed off and the new mission is open for posting. Please take a look at the mission description for 'If Knowledge Is Power' which will involve the race from a previous mission, the Krentari (remember we travelled to another dimension and encountered them?). In addition to the mission description, here's some more information that should prove useful in setting things up:

The Akagi has been delivering children to their homeworlds for about two months and finally we’ll be entering 2388 (mission specifically starts on January 12, 2388).

Feel free to write posts during this period of time. There’s lots of room for character development. Just leave the MD blank but put in the time if you can (like 1600 hours or whatever you feel is right for that post).

‘If Knowledge Is Power’ starts off with us delivering the last child and then resuming our original course towards Federation-controlled space.

A handful of children will be staying with us for varying reasons (can’t locate family, family deceased, reasons like that, etc.)

Senior officers are free to make complaints about Lieutenant Glorm. Nothing too bad mind you. I don’t want to bury him (maybe clear such complaints with JP first). The storyline that will play out is that eventually we want Glorm to just end up being a science officer again and that we’ll have a new character take up the position of XO.

On a final note, any posts currently in progress will need to be posted under the new mission with the exception of one which I'm working on with Sara and Eric which I will post into the old mission when it's time as it takes place on Fortuna IV.

Any questions then please contact me or Glorm and we'll be happy to help.

aka Aurelia Prendergast, Commanding Officer.

Hello Crew!

Please welcome our newest arrival to the simm! We have a new Chief Counsellor, Guillermo Alipando. Both Glorm and I have written with Guillermo's writer, Kaylee, for a few years now and I know that she'll make a wonderful addition to the simm.

So let's give a warm Akagi welcome to Kaylee and let's get writing some posts!

As the Borg were in their passive state, it did not take very long for Glorm and the Doctor to reach the distribution node that they were able to pinpoint on their tricorders. This was the easy part. The drones either ignored them as they walked by or they were…

Mission: If Knowledge Is Power

Glorm was uneasy about going to the Borg Sphere in the first place. That feeling didn't go away when he arrived. If anything, it only got worse. The Ferengi shrank back from the group as he felt intimidated by their dark and ominous surroundings.

When realizing he had, Lucas had…

The Akagi emerged from the transwarp corridor and the viewscreen before them changed to a panoramic vista of asteroids, tumbling end over end before them. "Where are we? And have you got a lock on the sphere?" Aurelia asked from the command chair.

"You won't believe this Commander, but we've…

It wasn't easy but Glorm was finally able to fit in a phaser training session into his busy schedule. Although he was certified to use the basic phaser weapon, being who he was, Glorm wasn't exactly a 'good shot'. For some time now, Lieutenant Alexander had been after him to…
